The Economic Research Department provides GFH and its clients with economic reports that cover global economic prospects, asset market trends and the outlook for the MENA region. It also collaborates with other departments in the Bank through providing economic input and research advice. In 2007, GFH concluded an exclusive deal with Capital Economics, the UK’s leading independent global economic research consultancy. Under the terms of the agreement with GFH, Capital Economics provides the Bank and its clients with research on the most important economies in the world as well as its forecasts of market direction and price levels in respect of most asset classes including equities, money market rates, currencies and commodities.
In tandem these provide GFH clients with word class research to assist in the investment and portfolio decision making process.
