The Algiers Economic Development Zone is the second such project to be announced by GFH following the launch of the Mumbai Economic Development Zone in 2007. The Zone will form part of the new master planned city of Bouinan on the outskirts of Algiers and will populate a site measuring approximately 2.8 square kilometers.
The initiative will have an estimated end development value of US$ 3 billion and will likely comprise financial, telecommunications and I.T. business districts alongside residential and leisure facilities. The Algiers Economic Development Zone represents yet another GFH governmental collaboration designed not just to ensure high returns for investors but also to catalyse wide-ranging socio-economic benefits within the domestic and regional economy.
